Terms of Service

Effective date: November 2025 • Last updated: December 2025

Overview

CPI Escalator automates Consumer Price Index–based rent escalation calculations using publicly available data (for example, from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics). By accessing or using this website or any related services, features, or APIs (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service.

Informational use only

Outputs generated by the Service are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute legal, tax, financial, or accounting advice. You are responsible for reviewing all outputs for accuracy, compliance with applicable laws, lease terms, and jurisdiction-specific requirements. No attorney–client or professional relationship is formed.

Accounts and access

Certain features of the Service may require an account. Authentication may be provided through email-based login links or third-party identity providers. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Use of the Service

You are responsible for the accuracy of all inputs and for how outputs are used. You agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes, to misrepresent outputs as professional advice, or to interfere with the operation or security of the Service.

Administrative access

Authorized administrators may access the Service for operational, security, or support purposes. Administrative access is limited and does not alter ownership of your data.

Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service if we believe these Terms have been violated or if continued access poses a security or operational risk.

Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service or reliance on its outputs.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
