Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 2025 • Last updated: November 2025
Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how CPI Escalator (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the Service.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as CPI parameters, rent amounts, letter details, and configuration settings. We may also collect basic technical logs, such as IP address, timestamps, and user-agent information, for security and operational purposes.
Data sources
CPI indices originate from official releases (for example, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics). We may cache CPI values to improve performance and reduce load on public endpoints. We do not control the accuracy or timing of third-party data releases.
Payments
If payments are enabled, card processing is handled by a third-party payment processor such as Stripe. Card data is processed by the payment provider and is not stored on our servers.
How we use information
We use collected information to operate and improve the Service, generate outputs you request, maintain security, and meet legal or regulatory obligations. We may use aggregated or de-identified data for analytics.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with third-party providers that help operate the Service (such as hosting, logging, or payment processing), subject to appropriate safeguards.
Your choices
You can choose what information to provide when using the Service. Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of certain personal information by contacting us.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
